For a brief outline please see below the different options that may be available to you at our nursery.

Two-Year-Old Funding

Some two-year-olds are eligible for up to 15 hours of childcare each week for 38 weeks of the year. We stretch that funding for you, enabling your child, to attend our nursery, for regular sessions, over the 52 weeks of the year that we are open.

After you apply and if you are entitled you will receive a code which you will need to bring with you to book your place. You also need to take your child's birth certificate and proof of address as well as your own D.O.B and N.I number.

When Can My Child Start Claiming?

Eligible children are able to start the term after their second birthday.

Born between:  Can start from:  When can I apply?
1 January to 31 March (inclusive)  The start of the summer funding period (April) following their 2nd birthday  January

1 September to 31 December (inclusive)  The start of the spring funded period (January) following their 2nd birthday  September

The two-year-old funding voucher will tell you the earliest date that your child can start their funded place.

Three and Four-Year-Old Funding

This is divided into two types of funding;

Early Education Fund for 3 & 4-year-olds - universal entitlement (15 hours)

Early Education Fund for 3 & 4-year-olds – extended entitlement (30 hours)

All 3 to 4-year-olds in Oxfordshire are eligible for the universal 570 hours free early education. (Universal)

Working parents may also be eligible for the extended 570 hours for 3 & 4-year-old children. (Extended or "30 hours").

We offer both these types of funding at our nursery.

When Can My Child Start Claiming?

From the term following their 3rd birthday.

Date of 3rd birthday  Government funded pre-school entitlement starts from
 1 April - 31 August  Term 1 - September
 1 September - 31 December  Term 2 - January
 1 January - 31 March  Term 3 - April

Is The Entitlement All Year?

Funded hours are only for 38 weeks (term time). As we are open all year round we stretch this funding for you across the 52 weeks of the year.

How Do I Claim The funding?

As your childcare provider we will supply you with all the necessary paperwork which you need to fill in and return to us. We will then do the administration to claim your funding on your behalf.

For your convenience (and ours) we will calculate your new monthly fees based on spreading your FEF equally across the whole year so we don't have to change your invoices and you don't have to change your monthly standing order.
