Who works at The Hadden Hill Nursery & Preschool?

Our children spend their time with caring and gentle adults who are fun to be around and who genuinely love being with them. Our nursery staff know all the children really well. All our staff are well qualified for their role. Everyone is trained in first aid and safeguarding. All our staff are encouraged and supported in further training in general childcare and in more specialised areas such as Special Educational Needs and also in practical skills like food hygiene.

Nursery Manager

I have been working in childcare for 10 years and have been in management and leadership roles for 7 of these. I have a Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy and I am passionate about my team and I giving a high standard of care to the children and parents in our nursery. I love watching the children grow and develop throughout their time with us and enjoy helping them to build their confidence and independence ready for their next journey at school.

Deputy Manager & Preschool Room Leader

I've worked with children for over 7 years now and am a Qualified Nursery Nurse. I'm currently studying for Level 5 Early Years Practitioner. I love having fun with the children singing and playing together. Over 2's are my favourite age group and I really enjoy supporting the team to progress their careers and encouraging us to explore new ideas in our Early Years practice .

I have been working in childcare since 2017 and have enjoyed working with babies, toddlers and preschoolers. In the Tweenies room I really enjoy being creative with the children even though this often gets quite messy! You will often find me dancing around the room with the children listening to nursery rhymes!

I'm a qualified Nursery Nurse and am working towards my level 5 to become an Early Years Lead Practitioner. I really love working with the babies as we can enjoy lots of cuddles and sensory play together. I'm a big Disney fan so also always ready for songtime with the babies. I have teenage boys of my own who I really enjoy spending time with at the weekends and on holidays.

Nursery Cook

I love cooking and it makes me so happy when the children have enjoyed my food and lots of empty plates come back to my kitchen. I have four children and seven grandchildren which keep me very busy as I am very family orientated and love to help take care of everyone. My family will tell you that I make the best quiche in the world but I do love cooking all sorts of dishes for anyone who needs feeding! I worked in a care home perviously but it's wonderful to get to cook interesting food from all over the world with lovely fresh ingedients and encourage young palates to like a wide variety of tasty nutritious home cooked food and help the children to flourish and grow into strong, healthy youngsters.
